Gary Asteak is one of the most experienced lawyers specializing in Municipal Law in Northampton County, is currently Chairman of the Northampton County Bar Association Municipal Law Committee, and is either Solicitor or Special Counsel for nine townships.
As a Municipal Solicitor, Asteak has guided his clients through complex land use and development projects, both residential and commercial, including such major developers as Walmart, Wegmans, Target, and major national warehouse developers.
Asteak also represents individuals addressing municipal issues and has served as counsel for both municipalities and Fraternal Order of Police Unions.
Divorce & DOMESTIC RELATIONS

Appeals in the Supreme Court have involved the right of self-defense, interspousal immunity doctrine, right of allocution at sentencing, breath test refusals, and land use appeals.
Many of the Appeals in the Superior Court and Commonwealth Court involve zoning variances, land use conditional uses, subdivisions and land developments, boundary disputes, domestic relations litigation, criminal trial evidentiary issues, criminal sentencing, post-conviction relief, and extradition.
